Details

The GordonCare for Children Records date back to around 1951. The collection relates to the Gordon Homes for Boys, the Gordon Homes for Boys and Girls and GordonCare for Children (which ceased providing out of home care for children in 2012). The records include admission registers, client files, school records, medical records and referrals. As of 2019, access to these records is provided via the Care Leavers Records Service within the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing.
