Files – Aboriginal Affairs is a record series created by the Aboriginal Affairs Planning Authority and the Aboriginal Affairs Department, including correspondence from earlier departments. It contains general files dealing with Aboriginal matters, particularly those relating to land rights and Aboriginal reserves, and includes a small number of records relating to missions and institutions that housed children. It is unclear whether these records contain information about the children housed in these institutions.
