FACT (Forgotten Australians Coming Together) is a Western Australian representative body for those who spent part of their childhood in out-of-home ‘care’, including former child migrants from the UK and Malta, and Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australian-born care leavers.
Laurie Humphreys, a former child migrant, was the inaugural Chairman of FACT (Forgotten Australians Coming Together), formed in 2009 in Western Australia and a founding member of the Alliance for Forgotten Australians, formed in 2006.
FACT is the governing body of Tuart Place, a support service for Forgotten Australians based in WA.
