This series has a D75 access restriction. This means that the records are closed for 75 years, except to former residents and their relatives. If a former resident wishes to access these records, a search will be done by staff and they will be provided with a copy.
Admission Registers, 1947-1966 & 1962-1974
The Admission Registers contain an entry for each child which includes date of birth, date of admission, whether the child is a ward of the state, a private admission or maintained by the church and reports relating to their time in the Home. These cover issues such as general behaviour and health. The registers may contain names of parents and siblings and information relating to background including reason for admission.
Photograph Albums, 1947-1978
