Baptist Community Services was established in 1986. It was a non-profit corporation limited by guarantee and was an agency of the Baptist Union of New South Wales. Previously, it was known as New South Wales Baptist Homes Trust. Baptist Community Services operated a number of child and youth programs including Carisbrook, Kings Langley Substitute Care for Adolescents, Leith House and Pathways Adolescent Unit. In 2013 Baptist Community Services ended its involvement in child and youth programs. At the end of 2013 Baptist Community Services became BaptistCare.
