The Admission Registers relate to the Rockhampton Orphanage, later Rockhampton Receiving Depot. This register of admissions to Rockhampton Orphanage includes the following details for each child: admission number, name of child, place and date of birth, date of admission, reason for admission and on what terms admitted, date and to whom the child was discharged, for what purpose the child was discharged (eg. Service, adopted, discharged because overage, gone to another orphanage etc.), name of parents (if known), occupation of parents, religion and residence of parents and any remarks.
