The Admissions Register dates from 1934 to 1976. It contains personal information about patients at the Millbrook Rise Psychopathic Hospital. Some of these patients were adolescents.

Records

The Admission Register contains the details of people admitted to Millbrook Rise between 8 May 1934 and 15 June 1969. Those details are the name, age, date of admission, occupation, previous address, marital status, and the name and address of their next of kin. It contains records of the 5860 admissions to Millbrook Rise between 8 May 1934 and 15 June 1969. Thereafter Millbrook Rise operated as a half-way house and the admission numbers used are those from the Royal Derwent Hospital Registers (HSD 247-HSD250). The volume records patients transferred to the pre-discharge unit until 17 June 1976 when Millbrook Rise was converted to a staff training facility.
