Carlisle Group House was established by Anglicare WA in 1976. By 1983, it provided support and medium term accomodation for up to eight young people aged 16-20 years in a group house setting. It closed around 1994, and was replaced by Anglicare Youth House.

It was an Aboriginal education and employment hostel, providing accommodation for up to 12 high school age Aboriginal children (girls and boys) who came from all over Western Australia. It had closed by 1982.

The Annexe was intended to provide a place where ‘trusted boys were sent for a trial period prior to their return to civil life’. The Hillston Point Walter Annexe closed around 1984.
