Melbourne City Mission

Melbourne City Mission came into being in 1979. From 1970 and 1979 the organisation had been known as the Community Welfare Foundation. In 1979, it reverted back to the name Melbourne City Mission, which dates back to 1854. In around 2000 there was another name change, and it became Melbourne Citymission.

Lentara UnitingCare

Lentara UnitingCare was formed as a result of UnitingCare Sunshine and Broadmeadows (UCSB) and Orana UnitingCare (OUC) agreeing to form a new organisation. Agreement was reached on 29 June 2012 to be effective from October 2012. In 2017, Lentara UnitingCare became part of the new organisation, Uniting (Victoria and Tasmania) Limited.
