If you’ve been following the blog, you will know that the way the Find & Connect website looks is changing. It’s taken us some time to get everything right, relying on the feedback & testing of people who are familiar with the site, and also testing with people who’d never used it before.
On the new site, you will be able to find what you’re looking for faster and more easily, search for all types of information, and browse galleries of photos. An upgrade behind the scenes means that when we want to update information – which we do based on the knowledge and experience of people who were in care, as well as new research coming to light – we can move much faster than we can now.
The change-over will happen in the coming weeks – there are still some changes that need to happen, but we’re nearly there.
The information on site will still be there, but will be easier to find and share, and get to what you need faster.
We’ll also provide assistance to people who are familiar with the current site and are finding the transition to a new design difficult.
